Residents in Widnes West Bank, neighbouring Evero's Mersey Bioenergy plant, are benefiting from new signage and planters funded through Evero's Community Fund, supporting improvements that residents can enjoy for years to come.
The project was officially unveiled during a visit by local MP Derek Twigg and Halton Mayor Pamela Wallace, who joined representatives from Evero and the local community to see the improvements firsthand.
The new signage and planters were funded through Evero's Community Fund, which supports projects that deliver positive benefits for communities located near the company's facilities across the North West and Northern Ireland.
Greg Williams, Head of External Affairs at Evero, said:
"We're proud to have supported this project through our Community Fund. The new signage and planters are a simple but meaningful improvement for West Bank, and it's been fantastic to see how positively they've already been received by the local community."
During the visit, Derek Twigg MP and Mayor Pamela Wallace joined local residents and project representatives to celebrate the completed project and see the positive impact it will have on the area.
Evero's Community Fund continues to support local projects that make a positive difference in the communities surrounding its operations.
